Looking Back:
Brianna and I decided to do a mini project while we waited for our glow in the dark powder for another lab. We thought it would be nice to paint the solar system on a piece of extra wood. At the beginning of this we didn't come up with a plan or a sketch. We sort of free handed it and see what happens at the end. The paint that we used was very thin and watery, which made it crack a little. After re-painting it multiple times, it turned out decent.

Looking Beyond:
Before we started painting we did a little research about the solar system and making sure how many planets there were. We are aware that there are two planets missing from our painting, Uranus and Neptune. Because of the amount of space we had, we tried to squeeze in as many as possible. We also talked about if Pluto is considered a planet or not.
Looking Inward:
I personally think that we did an okay job on this, there is some things that could be changed or fix but for as much time we spent on this I think that our results turned out of what we expected. By past experiences it was easy for us to contribute. We both learned about the solar system in elementary and middle school. Also we knew how to mix colors and use techniques from past art classes.
Looking Outward:
I worked with Brianna for this mini project. Since we waited for our materials to arrive for making our paint. We thought it would be a small and simple way to use our time. I think our performance was pretty decent. Both of us contributed and put in effort.
Looking Forward:
If I were to do this again I would definitely plan and sketch out before I started. And maybe come up with something else to paint other than the solar system. These mini projects are always nice to do. I'd be willing to work with anyone on this again.
Take Aways:
If anything, I took away collaboration skills. Even though a project might be small and simple, you have to treat it like any other project. Effort is also important because it definitely shows in the final product. Whether it looks like it's put together or you spent time on it.
